About

Hi! I am Carrie McBreen, a passionate and experienced speech-language pathologist with specialization in voice & upper airway disorders. I work with teens and adults in the following areas: voice disorders (nodules, polyps, cysts, other benign vocal fold lesions, muscle tension dysphonia, vocal fold paralysis, vocal fatigue, vocal strain, aging voice changes, vocal tremor, spasmodic dysphonia, head & neck cancer), upper airway disorders (inducible laryngeal obstruction (ILO)/vocal cord dysfunction (VCD ), paradoxical vocal fold motion (PVFM), chronic cough or throat clearing, Parkinson's-related communication programs (SPEAK OUT!, LSVT), swallowing disorders (dysphagia) , gender affirming voice training (vocal feminization or masculinization), speech therapy, communication coaching. I am dedicated to providing individualized and evidence-based care via telehealth, with the convenience and comfort of services in your home or office.

My Approach

I approach therapy as a collaborative and supportive process, where the client goals, experience and needs will guide our work together. I focus on building awareness, promoting healthy vocal habits and practical strategies that can be carried into everyday life. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging and informative environment that fosters confidence and consistency.
